1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Standards Academy website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Description
Standards Academy provides professional training courses in ISO and sustainability standards, including but not limited to ISO 37001 (Anti-Bribery), ISO 37002 (Whistleblowing), ISO 37000 (Governance), and ISO 37301 (Compliance). Our courses are delivered through various formats including live-online sessions, in-person training, and self-study materials.
3. Course Enrollment and Payment
3.1 Registration
To enroll in our courses, you must provide accurate and complete registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.2 Payment
The price shown for a course is the total you pay, including any tax. Payment is required at the time of enrollment unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated on our website.
3.3 Pricing
Prices are subject to change without notice. However, any price changes will not affect enrollments that have already been confirmed and paid for.
4. Withdrawal, Cancellation and Refunds
4.1 Your right to withdraw. You may withdraw within 14 days of the day the contract is made, without giving a reason. Use the "Withdraw from contract here" link in the footer, or tell us in any clear statement. We will acknowledge it and refund everything you paid within 14 days, by the means you used to pay.
4.2 When this right ends earlier. The right ends earlier in two cases, each agreed at checkout. Where you ask for immediate access to a self-study or eLearning course and acknowledge that the right ends when access begins, it ends then. Where you ask us to start a live-online or in-person course inside the 14 days, it ends on full delivery; if you withdraw part-way, you pay for what was delivered.
4.3 Cancellation by you. These charges apply only once the right in clause 4.1 has ended or does not apply.

4.4 Cancellation by Standards Academy
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to insufficient enrollment, instructor unavailability, or other circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another session. We will tell you at least 7 days before the scheduled start date.
4.5 Transfers. You may transfer your enrollment to another person, or to another session, up to 7 days before the course start date, subject to availability. We make no charge for a transfer.
5. Intellectual Property
All course materials, including presentations, handouts, videos, and other content, are the intellectual property of Standards Academy or our licensors. Participants may use these materials for personal learning purposes only and may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit them without prior written consent.
6. Certification and Examination
Where a course leads to a credential awarded by a certification body, successful completion of the course and its examination is subject to that body's requirements. Standards Academy delivers the training and does not award the credential or guarantee the outcome. Exam vouchers, where included, have validity periods as specified at the time of enrollment.
We will provide each course as described. If a course is not provided, or is not as described, you have the remedies the law gives you. Tell us at info@standards.academy.
7. Code of Conduct
Participants conduct themselves professionally throughout a course. We may remove a participant whose conduct disrupts the course or those attending it. We then return the fee for the part not delivered, less any loss the disruption caused, and give our reasons in writing.
8. Limitation of Liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow us to exclude, and nothing here affects your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our services, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim.
9. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Notice to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will post the new terms on our website with a new date. A change does not affect a contract already made: the terms that apply to your purchase are the ones in force when you made it.
11. Governing Law
Estonian law governs these Terms of Service. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection given to you by the law of the country where you live. You may bring proceedings in the courts of that country, and we may bring proceedings against you only there.
