About This Course

The EU AI Act establishes a risk-based legal framework for artificial intelligence. It classifies AI systems by the risk they pose and places proportionate obligations on those who build and deploy them, from transparency requirements to outright prohibitions. For any organisation with a presence in the European market, it turns the principles of responsible AI into concrete duties: documented risk assessment, human oversight and data governance.

This training course develops the knowledge to establish AI governance, manage AI risk and maintain compliance throughout the AI life cycle. It covers the applicability of the Act, operator roles, general-purpose AI, documentation, transparency and human oversight, together with the EU Data Act obligations on data access and data sharing.

Upon completing the training course, you can take the certification exam. After passing, you can apply for the PECB Certified EU AI Governance Professional credential.
