About This Course
Artificial intelligence systems carry security risks that conventional cybersecurity controls do not address. They can be manipulated through their inputs, corrupted through their training data, compromised through their supply chains and exploited through the tools and permissions they are granted, often without trace in standard security logs.
This training course develops the competence to secure AI systems across their life cycle. It covers how AI systems are attacked, defended and governed, with reference to MITRE ATLAS and the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, and how AI can itself strengthen security monitoring, threat hunting and threat intelligence.
Participants learn to assess the security posture of AI systems, implement appropriate controls, respond to AI security incidents and support their organisation's AI governance and compliance obligations.
Upon completing the training course, you can take the certification exam. After passing, you can apply for the PECB Certified Artificial Intelligence Security Professional credential.

Prerequisites
A solid grounding in cybersecurity and information security, including threat modelling, access control, incident response and security monitoring. A basic understanding of how machine learning systems work, such as model training, data pipelines and API-based services, is also expected.
